The Tenenbaum team came together to celebrate at Windows on the Lake for the Tenenbaum Law, P.C. holiday party. The night was full of dancing and delicious food.

The JBN LI – Jewish Business Network Long Island hosted the CEO Leadership Breakfast at the Rubie Corporate Plaza. Keynote Speakers, Kevin O’Connor and Rabbi Simon Jacobson, shared their words of wisdom with everyone. It was a great gathering for networking and the lighting of the menorah for Chanukah. Everyone received a copy of Rabbi Jacobson’s book “Toward a Meaningful Life.”

Karen Tenenbaum celebrated the holidays with Cynthia L. DoerlerJoe Benedetto and Jane LaCova at the Suffolk County Bar Association Holiday Party. She has enjoyed working with them on many Suffolk Academy Of Law and Taxation Law Committee related webinars this past year.

Big shout out to Rhonda Klch for her successful fundraiser for Holiday Dreams, helping kids in homeless shelters.

After an impressive 36 years at the IRS, Linda Henson’s final IRS Practitioner Meeting was December 8th. The practitioner community cannot thank her enough for the dedication she has put in over the years as Senior Stakeholder Liaison.

Karen Tenenbaum attended the Nassau County Bar Association Holiday Party. It was great to see President Gregory Lisi and Vice President Sanford Strenger.

Karen Tenenbaum presented at the 19th Annual Accounting and Tax Symposium. Day 1, Dawn Harris and Argi O’Leary joined the panel to discuss “IRS Trust Fund Liability & NYS Responsible Person Assessments.” On the last day of the Symposium, Karen and Argi returned with Scott AhroniLee Schwartz, and Sally Anne Hughes to present on “NYS Bulk Sales and the Tax and Non-Tax Considerations when Buying or Selling a Business.” This year’s ATS 2021 would not have been a success without the dedication of Kathy CaseyBob GoldfarbRoss Kass, and Ruthanne Corazzini, as well as many others.

Karen Tenenbaum and Marisa Friedrich, Esq. presented at the NYSSCPA, Tax and Financial Planning for Individuals Conference on “Dealing with Tax Controversy – IRS & NYS Tax Collection.”

Anthony Citrolo, CPA/CEPA and Barry Jackson provided great information during their Suffolk Academy Of Law presentation on “Exit and Succession Planning.” Karen Tenenbaum moderated this event.

Sam Mollaei, Esq. gave an informative presentation for The Suffolk Academy of Law business series on “How to Delegate 95% of Your Tasks By Hiring Virtual Assistants For Your Law Firm.” Karen Tenenbaum moderated.

Gerald P. Wolf, Esq. and Debra Rosenberg presented “SECURE Act and the Shrunken Stretch” for the Suffolk County Bar Association. It was presented at a joint Taxation and Elder Law committee meeting which was moderated by Karen Tenenbaum and Cindy Raskin Rocco.

Karen TenenbaumMarisa Friedrich, Esq., and Zhoudi Tang presented “Preparing for a Successful State Audit Defense and Alternative Strategies” at the NYSSCPANew York and Tri-State Taxation Conference. It was a lively discussion covering practical advice and strategies for individuals or businesses who may be facing a residency or sales tax audit.

Karen Tenenbaum presented “Federal & NYS Trust Funds & NYS Bulk Sales” at the NYSSCPANassau/Suffolk Chapter Annual Tax & Financial Planning Conference.

Karen Tenenbaum presented an overview of various tax topics at the IEEE Financial Summit. The presentation discussed NYS Telecommuting, IRS & NYS Tax Collections, Federal & NYS Trust Funds & NYS Bulk Sales.
